I would love if someone posts a video of a T-mobile or AT&T sim being used in a Sprint iPhone 6 or 6+ bought at the apple store at full price.
Again. Your hope is misplaced. This will never happen. In case you missed all the posts above yours, there is NO DOMESTIC UNLOCK.

You can hope all you want, but it's never going to happen. It's been explained several times over to you now. And Youtube videos are NOT proof. ANYONE can fake a YT video! The ONLY unlock we are currently discussing is an INTERNATIONAL unlock.

But go ahead. Ignore what I and others in this thread have said ad nauseum if you want. In the end you will find we were right no matter how much you don't want to believe us or how hard you try to ignore the truth.

Sprint iPhone6 can only be used for Sprint at this point in the U.S, maybe the law will take care of the unlock early next year.

However, at least in China, Sprint phones can work with any Chinese mobile carriers, especially China Mobile, which is the biggest mobile carriers in China.

Not sure how this internationally unlocked works but it is true.

Is this really true? Do you know this for fact?

So out of curiosity I put a tmobile sim in a sprint phone which to my surprise I expected it to be locked especially since I deal with cellphones everyday. Now I don't know if it was bought direct from apple or not. All I know is that according to the part number its Sprint. Can anyone explain it?

Everyone fell over including myself. Is your Sprint phone subsidized or was it purchased full price? Amazing…

You might want to ask about the phone.

The SIM Free version of the iPhone 6/6+ sold by Apple is actually a a fully unlocked Sprint version. That's because the Sprint version contains all of the bands/radios for use on all four carriers. The SIM Free iPhone 6/6+ is whitelisted by Sprint.

It may just be that you have the SIM free version and it's reporting that it's a Sprint version because of that.

I actually don't know yet. I have 2 others with MGD12LL/A and they are also unlocked.

These def arent SIM Free they had SIM's

Well. I don't know what to say to you then. You would be the very first Sprint iPhone 6/6+ owner with an out of the box unlocked Sprint iPhone.

If you click the link in my signature (the bottom one) you'll see that there is a possibility to get a replacement Sprint iPhone 6/6+ unlocked if you can prevent the Apple genius from activating the phone.

Activating the phone on one of two different carriers named in the thread prevents it from being locked to Sprint. Like the SIM Free models that Apple only recently started offering, this is a special case.

Another possibility (although highly unlikely) is that somehow this is the Japanese model. Apple sells the same Sprint model in Japan but it comes fully unlocked.

The only other unlock reports we've had here is that it's possible to get the phone international unlocked if you activate on an international SIM before you ever insert the Sprint SIM.

Understand that I can only take what you are saying at face value. I am hesitant, based on one report to start saying that Sprint is now unlocking these phones – especially in light of their aggressive and draconian methods to keep the iPhone locked to Sprint.

I'm with you 100% I was shocked especially knowing how Sprint is. I wish I could get more info on the phones more quickly but I'm trying.

what about the buying the Sprint iphone 6 or 6+ at full price may be locked but what about Sim Free phones you buy at full price?

Sprint whitelists the SIM free phones. Buy one of those and you can activate on all four carriers and the phone is not locked to Sprint.
