Sprint iPhone X from Apple Store

Hi all,

If sprint iPhone X is bought in full price from Apple store model 1865, would it function like the Verizon model? Meaning i would be able to insert any sim to activate correct? Or would it require sprint SIM card?
 
I was sold a Sprint model on release day, it comes unlocked and works fine with my T-Mobile SIM card.

Assuming you're paying outright, my understanding is that they all come unlocked from the Apple Store.
