I jumped on this when it was announced, but I already had a phone and iPad through Sprint. Spending $5 more a month to go from 1GB to unlimited on the tablet. Noticable difference in video quality, but nothing that ruins the experience.
I definitely think this a bigger deal for people who are already on and can tolerate sprint in some way, as opposed to people looking to switch
I agree. This right here is what I keep scratching my head at. I know there was a time when having it separate for each device, or even carrying around a hotspot, was necessary but with iPhone tether why even bother.
If I have sprint reception, then I have access to the network from my iPhone, and my iPhone can connect to my iPad and Macbook. So why pay the $170 for a cellular iPad, then $20 a month for the service?
If you have a sprint phone (I'm assuming smart phone) it is a good option for say, your uncle Zoli who loves all things tech but won't use it much and refuses to pay for things like garbage service, internet, or a smart phone. Those 80 year olds can be a bit stuck 😉
