Judging from this thread, it is clear that Sprint needs to offer a test drive program similar to T-Mobile's to get people to try their supposedly improved network, thus reducing the barrier for switching.
I suppose if the coverage is good and network speed is sufficiently fast, it would be worthwhile for some to switch. Having said that, I really hate Sprint's fuzzy math plans. Well that and their refusal to unlock phones.
T-Mobile may not do everything right but one thing I really like as a recent customer is simplified, clear pricing plan. All these fuzzy math is probably there to confuse existing customers getting worse deals than new customers, as well as to discourage them to downgrade to plans that probably is better suited for their needs.
