Sprint Unlimited everything

I'm looking at the Sprint unlimited everything plan for $50/mo.

They start you off with an iphone 6 (or 6+).

Can I just engage the hotspot and forget about it?

What I'm really after is an unlimited data hotspot, but no one wants to offer that.

Sprint does not offer unlimited hotspot on its phones.

I've been looking for the fine print on that.

As of today it says this on the website:

Exclusively for iPhone 6
Get unlimited high-speed data, talk and text while on the Sprint network

Included in this plan:
Unlimited high-speed data
Unlimited talk
Unlimited text

Unlimited high-speed data, which I assume you are thinking either includes or means 'Hotspot', refers to the phone only.

If you want a hotspot, you have to pay for it. Sprint has a number of them available for different prices.

It's an optional extra. But it is NOT unlimited.

No. What I am saying is that when I had a personal hotspot it was $20 a month for 2GB.

If you do not pay for the option then the option will NOT appear in Settings.

Sprint is not like the other carriers.

It will be an option, but when you try to use it, it will give you a message to say call sprint to activate it.

I show no Personal Hotspot option in Settings.

I'm sorry, you are right. I have not looked in a while, but remember (back when I had IOS7) it used to be an option, then would just give you a message to activate it.

Mine is removed as well now.

I think I do remember that. I can understand the confusion then.

Sprint doesn't include unlimited hotspot in that 50 dollar plan. In fact, Sprint doesn't even offer unlimited hotspot. Also, the 50 dollar plan is only for easy pay or the sprint leasing plan. It's 50 dollars + the device fee (for easy pay) or 50 + the leasing fee (for the lease plan. It's 20 bucks to lease the 6 and 25 to lease the 6+ (both being 16GB models)
