Spy - Eliminate Scrolling

Is there a preference for the forum spy, such that one can disable the smooth scrolling effect? When I first click on the spy, sometimes it's difficult to click on a link before it disappears at the bottom. This happens most often on busy days, such as Apple events.

I don't think there's any way of slowing down the forum spy as it's designed to update in real time. You could try using the New Posts page when the forums are really busy.

Good idea. I have no idea why I didn't think of that other than lack of coffee.
