im not as good on a mac, all i can recommend is making sure that file sharing is turned off in your system prefs

dont store anything in the folders which are added to the shared folders list in File Sharing preferences (Public folder by default) or just turn off File Sharing all together.

Wirelessly posted via iTablet G6 / Mobile Safari 7 with Flash. Current location: somewhere out there

Seems like they have sharing turned on - make sure yours is off and you should be fine against casual browsers.

File Sharing off for stuff you don't want people seeing, Firewall on.
