Spying on ones computer ?

Ok I'm sitting in my local coffie shop and I see others computers in the shared section so I click and I see this girls files on here computer sitting next to me, music and all. How can I keep some one sitting near me out of my computer ?

im on a Mac wow i could see 5 other computers in this coffie shop not good

im not as good on a mac, all i can recommend is making sure that file sharing is turned off in your system prefs

dont store anything in the folders which are added to the shared folders list in File Sharing preferences (Public folder by default) or just turn off File Sharing all together.

Seems like they have sharing turned on - make sure yours is off and you should be fine against casual browsers.
