I bought Square Trade when I bought my Iphone 4 on launch day and I dropped it today. It had the full body protection from Bodyguardz and I don't know how it didn't protect the screen when I dropped it on cement from 2 FT!

I filed a claim and it says that it is still under the manufaturer warranty and that it is not covered yet. Do I have to wait until that is over?

Try to explain clearly.

Subject line says it is covered, but then you said it was not covered.
And what is not covered?
You dropped it. But did anything break?

Should be covered.
"The SquareTrade iPhone warranty covers your iPhone for 2 years, starting on the date of purchase. "

They're just giving you the runaround. I'd pursue it up the chain of command by letter if necessary. The manufacture's warranty in this case wouldn't cover it. Hence the reason you purchased Squaretrade.

everyone knows the insurance company's main goal and focus is to deny. Now did you receive an actual policy that has all the language of how this insurance is to work?

Chris any update on this?

squaretrade requires you to wait 30 days before first claim. just file claim when 30 days from you signing up with squaretrade is over, then it's covered.
