I don't really mind if squirrels dine at my bird feeders, especially red squirrels, but this pic was to good to pass up. 🙂

I had one of those. The squirrels were always getting up in. Either that or hanging upside down and nibbling out of the holes for the birds.

I will admit though it was the one feeder the squirrels didn't manage to either chew through or knock down.
 
He wanted to keep dry!

If you buy corn for the squirrels, they'll leave the seed alone. Mostly. 😛
 
I stopped feeding the squirrels when one chewed through the facia and made her nest in my attic - turns out I was encouraging over-population by providing more food than the natural habitat could sustain, thus my home was deemed inhabitable! I was sad, though. My puppy used to love to play with "Mr. Squirrel" every day.😀
 
sure beats the raccoons I had stealing my birdseed! The feeder would wind up empty every morning, I eventually just gave up and stopped filling it.
