Squished display newest 27 inch iMac

It looks really funny. I cannot seem to get a resolution where it does not look squished vertically. Any help will be appreciated.

EDIT: I used SwitchResX and added 1440x900, but the quality on that res is terrible.

Thats because your native resolution is 2560x1440.

Go to System Preferences > Displays > Set resolution
