So I own a series zero and a series for SS silver currently. I really like the look of the new graphite SS version, but the scratching makes me nervous. I get scratches pretty often on my current watch, but the good thing about the raw SS is I can easily buffed them out. I have heard good things about the DLC coatings on the graphite and space black, but once a scratch there is no buffing those out. So now I am really torn on what to go with. How strong is this DLC coding for daily use?

Very strong. It'll cope with most day to day knocks with ease.
Drop it or have contact with something as hard or harder than diamond then you'll pick up some marks.

Thanks for the reply. I just went ahead with the Graphite, it will be a nice change from the last 5 years of silver SS.

If going for the milanese loop with it, just take a bit of care not to let the band touch the watch casing when removing & putting on. A few people unfortunately picked up scratches from it.

I have one and am just very careful. It's worth the extra care needed for a beautiful strap.
