Hi All,

All of my previous Apple Watches have been the stainless steel version (either regular or Space Black). I like this finish not only for the sapphire display, but I also feel like they dress up more nicely (more like a mechanical watch) than the aluminum, which is entirely personal opinion.

However, for the Series 6, I'm considering switching to the Titanium version to get the same premium materials with the added lightness of the titanium. My question is, for anybody that has the previous titanium versions, how does the titanium pair with the Stainless Steel link bracelet and Milanese Loop? I know the titanium is more of a brushed finish rather than polished like the SS, so I would hate to say goodbye to these bands due to a finish mismatch.

Anybody offer any insight? How do these bands look with the titanium? Is the match OK, or is it a glaring mismatch rendering them unsightly?

Thanks!

I found the stainless Steel Link band actually looks even better with the titanium watch since they are both brushed. As for the Milanese, it doesn’t go as well as it does with stainless but it looks better than if matched with an aluminum watch. I stopped using the Milanese all together and just use link, leather loop, or sport when i was using titanium

This is great, thank you for sharing! This helps solidify my choice of switching to titanium, especially with the new color versions of the link bracelets. Appreciate the response!

I did a YouTube review showing the differences and made sure to concentrate on differences with the link band. I hope it helps

I have a Series5 Silver Tianium. Purchased with the link bracelet and it looks very upscale. Bracelet pairs well with the watch. It is the Apple bracelet. I also have two aftermarket Milanese bracelets, one antique gold and one silver. They go very well with the Titanium watch. Also have the Apple sport band that shipped with the watch. It is a light grey color and actually looks very nice. I use it when I swim or on my daily 4 mile walk. Easy to wipe clean. Thr best part of different watch bracelets is the ability to change watch faces and customize them to coordinate with the bracelet. Virtually endless combinations. i like my aftermarket Milanese but I’m going to purchase the Apple ones as they are a bit more refined. Small quality details I notice but most people wouldn’t. For me it is worth the cost.

I appreciate you sharing, this is very helpful! I agree, both my SS Link/Milanese and SBSS Link/Milanese are Apple's (although I did not pay full retail for them) and I just think they fit the watches so much better, bot in form and function. It sounds like I can safely switch to Titanium and still take advantage of the slick looks of these bands. Thanks!!
