SSD 840 in MBP 13" (i7, 2012)

For anyone interested in replacing the stock MacBook Pro 13" i7 750GB HDD with a standard Samsung 840 SSD, my before and after tests are attached.

Couldn't justify buying the 840 Pro version, as write speeds aren't too important for me. Super-happy with the read performance, feels like a new computer.

Wonderful. Just about what I get with my Crucial M4 in the same machine. Yay!
 
I've been trying to justify the Pro as well. The 120GB 840 is only $99 on NewEgg. Thinking about pulling the trigger.
 
Will do when I'm back on my desktop.

Can anyone recommend a caddy for the optical drive? Can't decide if I should put my HDD back into it or my old SSD? Slightly worried about the heat.

OWC DataDoubler. It looks nice when I open up my MBP to clean out the fan
