SSD Compatibility

I have an SSD that I don't know if it works or not. 256 GB Apple model no. 656-0023B. I also have a (2017 - A1466) Macbook Air. Is this SSD compatible with my Macbook Air?

• This SSD is specifically designed for use in the Early 2015 release of the MacBook Air 11" and uses a 12+16 pin proprietary connector and PCIe 2.0 x4 NVMe interface.
• Although this drive physically fits in various other Apple devices, it can only be used with the Early 2015 release of the MacBook Air 11" laptop.

sorry, there could be an adaptor or something to attach that to the slot.
let me check OWC to see what that say....

they OWC claim their drive will fit the slot (don't know about the one you have) in 2013-2017 MacBook airs.

I have a MBA 2010 11" that the ssd only fits this and the 2011 model, as  expanded that to the mid 2013- models

I couldn't find any information about this SSD in Turkish sources. I won't waste my time with the installation. I will have the SSD checked by a service specialized in Macbooks when I have the time. Thank you for your help.

the process is easy, fixit can provide videos as well as OWC.

(my cat is from turkey, Angora....but from there 2 centuries ago!
