Ok, I know they don't sell the parts yet, but I am curious if anyone knows if the flash storage on the MBPr is replaceable or if it is soldered in (or you have to remove soldered in parts to get to it).

I'm just wondering if they do eventually sell the parts is the part removeable?

Seems to be easily accessible (2nd image for step 3, you can clearly see it top right. Or 2nd image for step 4, just below her thumb).

It's removable, but I don't think any third-party replacements are available yet, OWC said that they are working on one.

There are some on eBay being sold. I've been watching them since I want to upgrade to the 1TB but it seems the buy it now prices are over $1k. A little more than I want to spend.

Actually, OWC sells third-party storage for the retina MacBook Pros as well as MacBook Airs

Not for the late 2013 models (PCI-E storage) they don't.

They're only for the Ivy Bridge ones, which use an mSATA blade SSD.

The Haswell ones use a PCIe blade SSD, for which no replacement parts are available yet.
