SSD drive with micro SATA interface released!

    Does this mean that a Rev B HDD can 'easily' be upgraded to a SSD drive?
    Check out this link, never heard about the company.

    No it won't work. Micro sata is not sata LIF.

    That's about as useful to a MacBook Air a SATA paperweight.

    Ouch! Apple just bit us hard on this one!. MBA Rev B=Sata/LIF <> Micro Sata!
    Must be a bad "worm" in the batch of engineers. Imagine if Apple uses a non-standard connector in their 2.5 inch drives and contracted only Samsung and Toshiba to manufacture drives & SSDs with that type of connector!. Is that a can of worms or what ??. :mad:

    Yeah, it's disappointing. I am not sure why they did it this way considering that they had better stuff before.

    It's brilliant. They'd rather you buy Rev C than upgrade and hang onto your Rev B for a bit longer. :rolleyes:
