Can use e.g FileMate SolidGO ExpressCard 34
Increase speed, so lets say I install a game on the SSD expresscard will it improve performance, when comparing it to a stock apple 7200rmp drive?

    Thanks

sigh... did you read the bit that says 18MB/sec (read) and 8MB/sec (write)? Probably no...

Idea is sound and there are good expresscard SSDs (Panasonic for video). They are really, really damn fast; but they cost a ton!

It was a good question, if you clicked the link and read it, sigh....Probably no...;)
Click on it now, and you'll notice read speeds of 115MB/s and write speeds of 65MB/s.

Now, lets forget that. Would it improve performance?
    Thanks:)
