Greetings!

I own a 2007 white macbook with SL on it and use for it for school. I recently installed a SSD in it and just last week my mac isnt running as ship shape with it as it was. When i first turn it on instead of showing the apple right away and booting like it did instantly it stalls at the white screen for about 10 seconds before it boots, like it cant find the SSD. Is there any way to check if its failing?

Use Disk Utility to run a verify disk on it.

Also, in system prefs make sure you have the SSD set as the boot disk in the startup disk pane.

Just to make sure.. How to check if i installed OSX correctly? like if i selected GUID partition table?
