    Hi Guys,

it`s really cool, that you can get here a lots of infos...:)

    i have a little question..

i would like to buy a new mac mini server and asked many shops what kind of ssd could i use... so it`s very important for me cause i work a lot of audio and graphics... So could i use 2.5 OCZ Vertex 3 Max IOPS 240GB SATA 6Gb/s or colud the mac mini only work with sata 2.. so that i should use for example
2.5" OCZ Agility 2 Series 240GB SATA II
...also many shops told me that i must use a case for the ssd drive, so that i can build it that true?

    Thanks a lot

You can get one from Apple (albeit much expensive) through BTO or from OWC (SATA III). You do not need anything else to put an SSD into a Mac Mini Server since what you actually do is to replace a HDD with an SSD.

If you are going to be putting in your own SSD, you should go ahead and use a Sata III one. If you order it with a stock SSD from apple, it is only Sata II, but the port supports Sata III.
