SSD free space?

My new 15" MBP has the 512GB SSD, and as expected it shows 499.42GB capacity in the Info pane.

With about 150GB of programs/data onboard, Info shows the remaining available space at:

584.25 GB.

Um, probably an incorrect report (ya think?!).

Any idea how to get an accurate free space report?

Click the Apple icon at the top left of your screen then About this mac then More Info then Storage.
