In hindsight i would've gone with Apple's option but thats mostly because i could get it discounted.

It has Apple's full backing AND it has sanctioned TRIM support too.

Hy, I'm going to buy the 17" MacBook pro with 128GB ssd (8GB RAM and high CPU). Does anyone knows the max. write/read speeds of the apple ssd?

I'll be doing some programming on it (also some heavy programming that stresses the GPU) and I'll be gaming on it.

I'm pretty sure the Apple SSDs are SATA II drives, but not sure on the max read/write. I'm in the same boat as you; I just ordered a MBP with a 128 GB SSD because it was only $90 with the education discount.

For gaming, the only thing a SSD will do for you is load levels faster. It won't really affect your frames per second while playing. If your programming stresses the GPU, it's good you got the 17-inch model because it comes with the high-end AMD graphics card.

I believe it is right around 220 mb/s read speeds and 175 mb/s writes.
