Hey guys, I've seen people say they wouldn't recommend putting a sata 3 drive in the optibay because the speeds are all over the place or it just flat out wouldn't work. It's to my understanding that this model does indeed support sata 3 speeds in both bays it just won't run ssds consistently in the optical bay.
I was just checking in to see if a software update has fixed this by now and/or if anyone has gotten this to work. Thanks in advance.
