I just got a Corsair Force Series 3 that's supposedly fixed as it's an "1124" part, yet when I change it out from my HDD and fresh install SL, when it reboots it kernel panics, then will boot. But it boots really slow. A lot slower than my HDD.

I reset PRAM for safety sake.

I figure it's probably a bad drive again, but I wanna make sure I am not missing something fundamental here.

Not an OptiBay set up, not a clone. Fresh install.

Thanks!

Many people have reported instability with various Sata III SSDs; however, there have been many that reported success with the new generation SSDs. At this point you just have to be lucky with the new SSDs. Have you tried the Vertex 3?
