I'm updating a MacBook 2.1 running 10.6.8, i have installed 4gb ram and now i'm trying to install a SSD followed all the info and but the MacBook will not recognise the new SSD , it does not show in Disk utility or when i put in OS disk there is no drive to install.
I have put the Ssd in caddy and it worked ok and i have installed OS
I have reinstalled the old 500gb HD and reinstalled OS and that's working good,

I have tried several times to run the new SSD to no avail HELP PLEASE

Took palmrest off today to get a closer look as to why it won't connect, found that one off the metal strips under the HD caddy think they maybe an earthing strip had been bent a twisted when i extracted the Hd straightened out and now everything works great happy days
