SSD on MBP...

I know iMacs can get a secondary 256GB at the Apple store.

This isn't fair. We should be allowed to have a secondary SSD configurable on our MBP via the Apple store right?

Pull the optical drive and buy an optibay so can have a second drive. That's what I did.

Life isn't always fair. Go with the opti bay if you want secondary SSD.

its because apple isn't ready to remove the opti-drive from the macbook's yet. there are always aftermarket options, as the others have mentioned.
