Hello everyone; I have been the proud owner of a 17" MacBook Pro that I have owned for 4 years now without any problems and still running perfectly.

I am not interested in picking up a 15" MBP and once question that I have kept on asking myself is wether or not to go with the less memory of the SSD or just get more memory with the older hard drives.

My question is if I go with the default hard drive can you swap that out and use a SSD drive later on? Or do they both fit into the MBS's differently?

Yes you can fit the SSD in like any 'ol HDD.

If you're looking upgrade your memory, 4GB shouldn't be too expensive these days.
