I've been thinking about an upgrade to a 1TB SSD in my iMac from my current 500GB SSD for a while now, and although not a major priority, I'd like to get to it eventually. Anyway, I've had my eye on the usual sites, looking for a good deal, but it seems there has been an uptick in SSD prices lately. Has anyone else noticed this? Is there some material shortage, spike in demand, etc. that I haven't heard of? For example, I've seen the Crucial MX300 not too long ago in the $250 range, but it seems to be around $280 now. I've seen a similar increase in the Samsungs too. Note: this seems to be only for the 1TB SSDs. Sales on the smaller capacities seem to be pretty frequent.

Ive noticed the same thing. For a second they looked like they were entering a desirable price range. I'll wait til they make its way back down again.
