SSD question

    i heard some say that SSD will gradually become slow after using, but HDD is more long-lasting. is it true?i'm considering a 2012 MBA, or slimmer 2012 MBP. i know that SSD is much faster,but i want the speed to last long.opens apps fast, super responsive...like that.BTW,do you guys think the 2012 MBA refresh will give away something like backlit keyboard?appreciated for replies...:)
