i am looking at getting a new MBP but i am thinking about getting a ssd... I know a good bit about the difference and wanted to know if mac supports TRIM. i don't think snow leopard came with the capability.

in not as many words...can you TRIM an ssd on a mac?

Trim is not currently supported in Snow Leopard. The SSD I have works well without it.
