Hi all ,
I've just finished a SSd upgrade on a mid 2010 iMac and n the process
I've see to have harm one of the connectors from the screen .
From what I understand its the video card input I've bend some of the pins while pulling it out, now the iMac loads and but the screen remains black
Do I now need to replace the video card ?
Thanks

Mean replace the motherboard? There isn't a separate board for the video card.

That looks like you "might" be able to get the pins to go back into their respective slots in the plastic shroud. It would take some good magnification, a set of small tweezers, and a very steady hand.

If not, a new connector could be purchased and someone with excellent soldering skills should be able to replace it.
