SSD Upgrade

I have a Mid 2012 MacBook Pro 15inch with the Retina display and I am looking to upgrade the storage on it. Are there any SSD y’all would reccomend that are compatible? I looked at the Crucial MX500 but they told me it won’t work with the Retina display. Would appreciate y’all’s help! Looking for a 1TB as well. Thanks!

I suggest OWC Aura N2. Fast more than enough and runs a lot less hot and power hungry than the Pro version. It is made for laptops.
