I'm looking for a client like tera term or putty which are only for windows.

Any reason you don't just use the terminal?

well after an hour of trying to figure out how to log on using the terminal, I just logged into my schools account, and can't delete the thread, thank you though for the replies.

If you still don't like the terminal, I use Transmission, but that isn't free. You could also try mounting via Finder. In the menu bar, select Go > Connect to Server... and type in the server address there.

I'm pretty sure Cyberduck, Filezilla, and Transmission are pretty useless if you're not looking to upload and download files. Sometimes I SSH to start tunnel so I can circumvent a filter… just saying ;)

I am in a couple programming classes and I use ssh to submit my assignments in a folder or even work from the terminal to program.

I use Cyberduck for simple file transfer in a GUI way, and Terminal for everything else I do remotely.
