SSH connection problem

    Found these instructions:

    1) install OpenSSH on your jailbroken iPod or iPhone
    2) turn off Mac firewall/ allow SSH
    3) go to Terminal on computer and type 'ssh root@<your IP address>'
    4) it'll ask for a password and you'll type in 'alpine'
    [it won't show the password while you're typing]


    Did all of the above, tried typing alpine [did not show an entry], did not accept.

    Not sure why it did not work.

    I found via Cydia how to use Mobile Terminal to check that the password was indeed 'alpine'.

    Ended up using DiskAid for file transfer (GUI interface).
