Try using the Terminal.
Hi,
Thanks for the info, but I would prefer to use something with a GUI as I don't have much experience with the Terminal.
Thanks for the info anyway. 🙂
"ssh username@ipodtouch'sip", then wait for the password prompt (no characters will appear) will do it for ssh in the Terminal. Try it and see what happens.
Hi,
I tried that but all that appears is a hash symbol.
What should I do now?
Thanks.
I think that means you're in; try typing "ls" and see what happens. If it returns a listing of files, you've got the right username, password, etc.
Hi,
I tried that but I just get "ls: not found"
Anymore suggestions?
Thanks.
Hi,
Thanks for all your help! 🙂
I managed to get Cyberduck working, I had the protocol set to FTP instead of SFTP (SSH Secure File Transfer).
Thanks again.

are you using a MAC?
I can not get cyberduck to work either, it is very frustrating!

I could not get it to work either, but tried Transmit and it is great. Not one problem.
