Is there a way to SSH into the iPhone via the data IP address instead of the wifi address? I've eliminated my means of SSHing as the problem (Terminal in OSX gets me in over the wifi IP no problem), and I've turned off the phone's wifi, just in case that somehow interfered. When I attempt "ssh root@*my data ip*" however, it just sits there. No error message, no time out after a couple of minutes (though I can't say I have any idea how long it waits before timing out normally), nothing. Is this even possible?

Note: No, I can't think of any really good reason why I would ever need this as an option. I'm mostly exploring the possibility for fun :D

Since your data IP is in a private network range (10.x.x.x for me anyway) there is no way to SSH directly to it without ATT forwarding the port... You're going to have to do some tunneling to achieve what you're looking for...
