I used ssh with FileZilla (mac program)...worked perfect.

I have widows. I used root/alpine for username and password but no luck.

Yes I've used winscp successfully with my air. An older version of winscp I haven't updated in awhile.

I figured it out. Installed openssh and everything worked

Well, yes. The phone doesn't come with an SSH server...
