ssh -X from Linux to OSX ?

is it possible to run a OSX GUI application from Linux via a SSH -X connection ?

Yep, but you could remote display X gui apps (e.g., the ones you install from Macports or Fink) from OS X to a Linux box.

ok that's what I though. I guess that the Linux X cant display X application from OSX.

Did you read what he said? Yes it is possible, you just need to set it up correctly.

I recommend downloading the latest version of X11 for Mac OS X from Xquartz.
