When I try to set up the MobileME sync on my iPod Touch I get this error message: "Cannot connect using SSL Do you want to try setting up the account without SSL?" Whether I say YES or NO, it doesn't work.
My MobileME account is active I'm able to login online and see my info has been synced.

I want to also set up a Microsoft Exchange account and I've done that, it works fine but I've removed it until I can get the MobileME account setup to work. I only want my calendar, not contacts or mail from the MobileME account.

Any advice? I have verified I'm running iTunes 9, my iPod got the most up-to-date software three days ago (version 3.1.2) so I think I've got the right components. Does it have anything to do with the open ports on our network? I am able to surf on my ipod so I know I'm connecting to the network fine. (I use internet sharing from my desktop) I would truly appreciate any help!
