any one have it?...recommend it?
Have it, not sure I can recommend it.
The stand itself is well built, nice and sturdy. Heavy enough so that it will not tip over and it holds the iPad at just the right height and angle.
However, the pads they use on the tips to cushion the iPad do not stay on. When I took mine out of the shipping box, two of the pads were sitting down at the bottom of the box and the other two pads on the top arms had moved out of position.
The company sent me new pads but that won't solve the problem. The adhesive on the pads is simply not strong enough to keeps the pads in place and keep them from moving.
I'm going to take mine and dip the ends in some black Plasti-Dip (the stuff you use on tool handles).
Mine has been on order for over a month now. I'm getting tired of waiting.
I bought one of these and it's great. Folds up small, works on the top, bottom, or side of the iPad, very stable, and grips like a SOB. Check Amazon.
Oh, and it's 15 bucks!
I bought the Sunbeam decorative plate and iPad stand for 97 cents.
Awesome. I just ordered this one and will see how it works out! Hopefully I will be mooching it too
