Stacks

I accidentally deleted my stacks. I have looked at other websites and it has told me to find it in finder again and drag it back into the dock, but i have totally deleted it off of my computer on accident. I was wondering if anyone could tell me where i could find a download to get the stacks back.

do you know how to re-add the stacks to the dock. They don't seem to drag and drop as stacks, just regular folders.

When... you drag a folder to the Dock it becomes a stack...

So it's not there? Make one. Command+Shift+N in your User folder and call it Downloads. Drag it to the Dock. Tell Safari to download to it.

Are you putting the folder to the right of the hash mark that is on the dock?

Just for clarification, you got it to work by putting the folder to the right of the hash mark in the dock or by some other method. Putting a description of how you solved this is helpful to keep in the thread for others to see or to refer to.

ya all i did was drag the folder next to the trash
and it worked
i didnt know it was that easy
