So about 3 weeks ago I cleaned my 2012 retina MBP 15" and noticed that the coating was coming off in the top left corner of the screen. I took it to the Apple Store and with no questions asked, they took it in. About 5 days later (today) I picked it up with a new screen.
Just wanted to post a positive experience as most of the threads on here are negative. Anyway, besides the superior OS, what great customer service and I guess it is the reason I am willing to pay the extra money.

Thanks Apple!

My 13" has had two screen replacements for the same reason. It is a shame it happens, but nice that Apple takes care of the issue with no questions asked. The first time they had to send it in and it did take a few days. The last time they did it in store and I had it back the following day.
