I ordered mine at the apple store right after i tried it on. didnt have to do anything, i wished the stainless steel loop bracelet was cheaper

You can't buy the black stainless steel case with any other band.

They only sell the SS space black with the matching link band. It will fit other bands as long as they are for the same size face (38mm or 42mm). So in short, it's possible, but there's no way to do it other than buying the expensive space black link band watch AND a separate rubber band.

Hope that makes sense.

If you want the black Sport band, you need to order the watch with the link and then the extra band separately. There just isn't any other way.

Personally, that's what I have on order.

That was my idea! Thanks for the confirmation .... it just sound expensive at first... But just need to be patient until u get ur refund for the band

Or maybe The other option is to purchase the SB ss with the ss band and then exchange the steel band for a sport one...

You can't do that. You may only exchange bands that are strictly in that Watch's collection. So if you get the Space Black, you can't swap for any other band because the Space Black only comes with that black link bracelet.
