So, I don't get this: the link bracelet is made out of brushed finish stainless steel, so it's matt rather than shiny. However the main stainless steel watch case is shiny with a mirror finish.

doesn't this looks weird together? It almost looks like the expensive link bracelet looks better with the aluminium finish apple watch !!!!!!!!

The finish does have a discrepancy.

This is a common discrepancy in the watch world though. I had a Movado Luno with black face and gold dial with gold accents. I also had a Movado Luno with black face and silver accents. The body of it was stainless steel was incredibly reflective. The band was brushed.

The reason being that the band is more likely to take abuse then the the body.

Luckily if you like the aluminum body with stainless steel I'd think you can get a good combination :)

I think the silver aluminium apple watch looks nice next to the link bracelet band EXCEPT at the part where the band slots into the watch case, because that metal piece is actually shiny to match the SS watch. so you'll have a matt aluminium case, a matt ss band, and a piece in the middle that is shiny and totally out of place.

LOL. I guess i'll just get the sport watch with the rubber band and the leather loop. That's it, and it's way cheaper. Everyone is happy >:)
