Stainless steel link band clasp broken

Hey, got gifted a stainless steel link band the official Apple one. The left clasp keep popping open and will not latch flush like it used to.

Will Apple honor this warranty? No damages, just superficial scratching from wearing.

Ask them? Nobody here can tell you. But I'd be surprised if they didn't

How old is the band? I believe bands come with a one year warranty. Was the band purchased from Apple? If the band is less than a year old and you can show it was purchased from Apple, it is for sure under warranty.

If not, I agree with the above post that the best approach is to take it to an Apple Store and ask. The worst they can tell you is tough luck. Be polite- Apple store staff do have latitude to make out of warranty repairs/replacements for free sometimes.
