Stainless Steel Space Grey Link Bracelet

Quite a few nice watches that have link bands have two tone bands in silver and gold. Given how easy it is to take apart the band it occurred to me that while rather expensive it would be very cool to get both a Stainless Steel and a Space Grey Link bracelet and take them apart to combine the links into some cool patterns. Alternating or 2 then 1 or 3 then 1 or 3 then 2. That would be a pretty nice look as long as the two colors look good together.
 
You can't buy the black one on its own so would have to get the SS watch and then a separate silver watch band on its own.

Looking at spending a lot of money for it. Better off waiting till 3rd parties come out with link bracelets and buy two cheaper ones.
 
That's a bummer. I would opt for the SS but alternate in some pattern of Space Grey links. Not as keen on the SG casing.

Only a few links around the clasp are removable. The others are fixed.
 
Only the adjustable links, which are fixed in size, are removable. The other links are progressively sized to increase in width as they approach the case and are not removable. It won't look cohesive.

What's funny is that both the SS and SG look different with the lighting. A link or two of the SS looks more yellow, and the SG gets very black in some lighting. Personally I think that straight alternating wouldn't look good but a 2 to 1 or other ratio still could.

And maybe it just wouldn't.
