Over here in NZ we only get the Stainless Steel, Graphite Stainless Steel or Gold. Since the Space Black is now only offered in the Hermes range.
I was wondering will the Graphite stainless steel be more scratch resistant than the Silver Stainless Steel? As I'm trying to choose between these 2.

The opposite - DLC is said to be more durable than PVD based on user reports. My SBSS with DLC has no visible scratches after two years.

One advantage to plain Stainless Steel is that scratches can be buffed out (if not too deep). That's not possible with the coated watches (DLC or PVD).

Thanks, will wait to see the actual difference between the Graphite and Space Black (Hermes), because the pictures aren't showing any.

Slight correction in your post:

It possible to remove scratches on the PVD coating with a Cape Cod polishing cloth, but it will tarnish the coating (But there’s no discoloration from the solution from the cloth). A few members tried this with the gold stainless Apple Watch and it does remove hairline scratches. Just to clarify, you cannot use a polishing cloth DLC, as it has no effect on removing the scratches regardless.
