I was itching to buy an Apple Watch this time around in Stainless Steel because I like the material and the sapphire crystal.

And then Apple only released cellular models in Stainless as if it were needed for the product to be "Pro" or higher end. And they made them thicker...

Any chance Apple will release Stainless Steel Apple Watches without cellular in the near future? When?

I just dont like the idea of a cellular device always attached to my wrist and find it especially ironic given the device is marketed as Apple's entry into the field of "health"...plus I always have my iphone with me anyway.

Who else is waiting for one? Will there be any Stainless Steel Apple Watches without cellular in the future?

Won't happen. Apple need to gouge as much out of us as possible for their multi billion dollar failure which is the car

Actually, Jeff Williams commented during the keynote that Apple Watch retained the same thickness in the casing, except for the heart rate sensor in the back, which is only two sheets of paper thicker. So it's not even really equivalent probably to be noticed by anyone wearing it.

As far as Apple's intentions with future Apple Watches, this company is so unpredictable, I wouldn't be able to give you an accurate guess on that. But LTE will likely be available for future watch releases.
