Is there an alarm clock that I can set from my iPhone but that is separate from my iPhone? I need to set an alarm in my kids room to remind him to get up and when it is time for bed.

Try googling smart wifi alarm clocks or something. I did that and here is one that I found. There's probably a few options out there.
