I am currently on ATT Prepaid. T-Mo offeres a stand alone cellular plan for Apple watches. Would I be able to use the T-Mo cellular watch plan on my Ultra 2 with my iPhone on ATT Prepaid? I know it would have a seperate phone number but ATT Prepaid does not offer cellular watch plans.

would there be any conflicts having a ATT iPhone with a Ultra 2 on T-Mo cellular? $20 for unlimited talk, text and data. Would it interfere with my emails and texts on my Ultra from ATT.

To my knowledge, none of the major U.S. carriers offer a standalone watch service although all of them do offer a cell plan for watches that is tied to the phone line. You can't have a watch on T-Mobile and the phone on AT&T. I think you are misunderstanding what you are reading on the websites.

I have explained in detail to the T-Mo chat and they say it is not problem. The would issue a sim number for me to put in my watch and it would activate. Check out T-Mo stand alone cellular watch plans.

It looks like both Verizon and T-Mo offer a stand alone plan I could use with my Ultra 2 and keep my phone on AT&T Prepaid.

As you said the bigger issue is the watch will have its own phone number. Calls, texts, etc will have to go to that number and not your actual phones number. The watch would kind of live "by itself" and not normally be paired to a phone, so it might be inconvenient to have to pair it every time you want to make changes on the watch that require the phone app, ie software updates, etc. The standalone plans are also more expensive than the normal paired plans (TMobile has a $5 plan for example).
