(I asked this on another related but not exactly the same topic thread. I ask your indulgence in posting my question again, since I really need advice)

I want to watch videos on my i-Device without uploading them to a website first.

The videos are say from torrents, or from other phones' video cameras, etc. which are on my Win2k PC. I have AirSharing (Pro) which I use mostly for reading PDFs, and also Simplify Media (2.0), which I think is only for mp3s.

Would OrbLive be the correct app for this purpose?

I never bought it, as I knew Slingbox Media was coming soon.

Ahem. :p

Since no one piped up, I bit my lip, took a chance, and bought OrbLive for $9.99. Thankfully, it worked fine.*

It's exactly like Simplify Media 2.0, only you can watch any kind of formatted videos that are on your computer with it.

* That is, after I manually created exceptions to my router and AV/Windows firewall to allow it to access out. It's port 80, in case anyone else is stuck.
